We have experience of making a variety of instruments including guitars (both acoustic and electric) mandolins, violins, and are able to make bespoke necks for banjos. We also undertake specific inlay work. All our work is produced by hand including the cutting and inlaying of abalone and mother of pearl. We are a small business and pride ourselves on a very special personal service and no job is too small for us to undertake.
Prices for custom work depend on the instrument, inlay and particular requirements of the customer. These are decided through consultation. Once the customer has decided on his or her requirements then a 30% deposit will be required to conduct the work, with agreed stages of payment. The final balance will be paid once the completed instrument is collected.

We offer a bespoke service of making custom stringed instruments whilst consulting with our customers to understand their actual needs in terms of preferred materials (woods, bindings, finish and inlay), preferred instrument style and playing style to ensure the final instrument is set up to match the actual bespoke preferences of the individual player.
